1. On pages 509 - 510, there is a discussion concerning geometric constructions. Summarize the information within the article. Include information concerning the Greeks' attitude toward mathematics, their rules for constructions, the three famous problems of antiquity, and areas of interest for you.
2. We discussed a number of plane figures in our study of geometry thus far. Select 5 shapes and give examples where they might be found in the "real" world.
3. You have completed a biography on Euclid. Summarize his contributions to mathematics and discuss their importance to mathematics. If you could have a conversation with this mathematician, what would you like to ask him?
4. Explain why a rhombus must be a parallelogram, but a parallelogram might not be a rhombus.
